Gestures)

  Have you ever observed the people’s behavior in café, at the street or even in films?

  Many people think that actions speak louder than words. Today there are many stereotypes and due to them people can jump to conclusions and misinterpret some gestures.

  There is well-known stereotype, that girls fiddle with their hair when they fancy someone. As a matter of fact, it doesn’t mean that she is flirting, she can be just thoughtful.

  Easier said than done. So I tried to be observant, and looked out for different kinds of student’s gestures.

  By and large, students go red, when they are angry and have sweaty palms and when they are nervous about some event, or when they are not confident. When they have some doubts, they try to avoid an eye contact, and, on the contrary, when they respect their interlocutor. Both of this types of body language they can have when they have some bad intensions, for example, desire to write off ;).

New Life After Retiring!

  It was beautiful October morning. The sunrise was golden and red, so day promised to be warm and sunny.

  James woke up at 7 o'clock. He was full of innermost thoughts. He felt uneasy and wanted to pour his feelings out, but his heart told him to be guarded. Yesterday he retired and he was searching for new hobby. He looked at his shelf and saw many photos. He had worked in advertising agency and last ten years his business was booming. But he needed a new inspiration to reduce stress! Suddenly, he came across a photo of ocean and he remembered, that he took an interest in photo long time ago. So, he decided to spend this autumn day riding on his bike and looking for amazing landscapes.  He went to the garage, but found out that his old friend is broken. James was gutted. But he was as stubborn as a mule, so he decided to repair it just now. It had turned out that only one detail was rusty, it was just a by-product of non-using during a long period of time, so James changed it ably.

  He sat at his bike and went to the shop, he needed to consult an expert about choice of photo camera. After buying a good camera, he was driving on the road. James was ecstatic, because in the shop he had met his old friends, who sold him this camera with very nice discount.

  Suddenly James paid his attention to the car ahead of him. There was an inscription “A-Z”. James thought about interpretation of it. After a few minutes he made a conclusion. His retiring doesn’t mean the end of the life. He still can live his life to the fullest, from A to Z!

  At this time he lost a focus on the road, and nearly crashed into the car in front of him. Fortunately, his instinct said him to back off. But in the minute he understood, that it wasn’t his fault. It was something wrong with that car. He almost lost his temper. But he made himself to bottle his emotions up and decided to found out the cause of this happening. When he went closer, he saw, that the driver feel bad. The car stopped, and James stopped too. The man said that he need a doctor. James called the ambulance. When the doctor helped the man, James went on.

  He stopped near the ocean and made a few photos. His soul was in state of sheer calmness. The ocean absorbed his bad vibes. He wandered along the beach for two hours.

  When he came back home, there was an admirable sunset. And, of course, James made a photo of it in memory of the day that was a beginning of his new life.

My favourite English quote.

Very often, when somebody ask something, he knows what he wants to hear. As there is a great number of people all over the world, so there is giant amount of types of character. When the person is subconsciously sure, that he is surrounded by bad-tempered people – he will see no charitable soul around. And when person trusts people, believes in their virtuous plans and intension, he will live his life between cordial and hearty people. Everywhere are good and bad people. But everybody can see just what he wants to see. Only sincere desire can help you to open up and find out some warm ray of sunshine. Every heart has the sun, just let it shine. When we are listening to the composition of famous performer, every of us is thinking about different thoughts, every of us is disturbed by different memories. In every masterpiece of art – a picture, a sculpture, an architecture – we are searching for exactly detail, excite inside of us volcanic swirl of emotions and feelings. We can read the same books, but draw different knowledge, make different conclusions and underline different quotes, which in our consciousness are associated with fixed memories and reflections. And to see life  from different aspects, you need to have close friends, whose ornament of brain is dissimilar to yours.

Fairytale)

  Once upon a time, two dictionaries lived. They were two best friends - Oxford and Longman. They were very comparable, and both of them were known as reputable dictionaries, which always were helpful for people and had a large following all over the world. Certainly, there was competition between them, but nevertheless, it was temporarily. 

But sometimes some sircumstaces make us to reflect on our acts. 

  Once, there was some disput between friends about some word. And Oxford unwarily said, that Longman  cannot explain this word not because of  it is inexplicable, but because he didn't know this word. This phrase was very emotive and Longman was deeply offended, so he replied that, perhaps, he mistook his for a friend. Oxford was shocked at these heartless words, because so many years they were nearest and dearest for each other and Oxford answered that it were unforgivable words.  After this quarrel they lost contact with each other. Soon they regreted about it, but their pride prevented them to get hold of each other.  One day, Longman received a postcard, in which his old friend Robert from France proposed him to make a visit. 

  Longman felt absolutely lonely last days, so he decided to go there and to have fun. It promised to be very eventful trip, so he finalized his plans and went to France, although he was sure that it would be pointless without Oxford. The Roberts' housing was very comfortable, spacious and fully furnished, so he hoped to led himself away from sad thoughts.

  Meanwhile, Oxford arrived in France. And when he had knew, that Longman also decided to visit Robert, he was very happy. He realized that  it was his fault and he was very apologetic.  

  When Longman arrived at the airport, Oxfor was waiting for him there. Two friends extered each other, they were happy to see each other again. Our dictionaries enjoyed this trip to France. 

  The moral of this farytale: if you cannot do something, you can always rely on the support and help from other people. Don't miss your friends!:)
